Which cookies sygma.co.uk uses, what each one does, and how to change your choice.

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help us see how the site is used, or measure our adverts. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as information kept in your browser’s local storage.
When you first visit, our cookie banner asks what you are happy with. Necessary cookies are always on. Statistics and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them, and we remember your choice for 6 months.
Until you accept, and if you refuse, nothing is sent to Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Clarity or Mailchimp. Clarity’s script loads but stays switched off until you accept statistics cookies. The only exception is Google reCAPTCHA on our quote forms, explained below.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time.
Your browser is sending a Global Privacy Control signal, so we have already treated it as a refusal of statistics and marketing cookies, and our cookie banner stays closed. To accept those cookies, turn off Global Privacy Control in your browser’s privacy settings.
These make the website work and remember your cookie choices. They do not track you.

Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used, such as clicks and scrolling, so we can find and fix problems with the site. Google Analytics shows us how many people visit and which pages they use; because Google’s tag on our site serves both Analytics and Ads, Google Analytics only runs once you also accept marketing cookies.

| _clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Links the pages you view into one session recording. | 1 day |
Google Ads tells us which of our adverts lead to enquiries, and can add your browser to an audience so our adverts are shown to you on other websites (remarketing). Mailchimp is the email service we use; its script runs a sign-up form on our website and keeps a count of your visits in your browser so the form appears at the right time. If you refuse marketing cookies, none of these load.

These services set cookies on their own websites rather than on ours, so the cookie names are theirs to change.
